thermomechanics, etc. noise treatment air treatment engineering and studies environmental compliance noise treatment sai: three letter that remind the historical activity of our paris-based sme: société d'acoustique industrielle (industrial acoustics company). in 1975, in the beginning of our adventure, sai is an expert in industrial acoustic treatment for ventilated machines. we then designed our first ventilated and modular acoustic enclosures. from there, we rapidly developed an expertise for gas turbine treatment and more particularly for exhausts, aircraft engines, heavy industrial silencers in the petrochemical and chemical industry. our many skills, including thermo-mechanics, allows us to design silencers subject to high thermal gradients and to permanently guarantee reduction of the noise generated by power plants in order to protect the people and the environment. air treatment all of our projects come with a huge challenge : attain the lowest pressure drop and the highest efficiency level while minimizing operation and maintenance costs. through its selection of materials resistant to severe weather conditions and to the complexity of the contaminants, sai air treatment solutions are cost-effective and at the cutting edge of technology. to meet all of those requirements, sai has developed a wide range of solutions: filter defrosting with anti-icing nozzles (infrared or air heated), coarse dust particles filtration (dust storms, laterite, harmattan), water elimination (rain, fog, sea spray, snow…), air cooling to lower the temperature and enhance performances on gas turbines, static filtration in damp areas (tropical climate, offshore…), pollutants filtration such as hydrocarbon (smoke, soot…), self-cleaning solutions, etc. engineering and design either through a curative action or a preventive one, sai provides customized cost-effective solutions with performance guarantee in acoustics, fluids dynamics, mechanics... the engineering and design phase establish the basis for the proper execution of a project. through measurement, simulation, calculation or comparison to previous projects, our
